Chef Rose was born in West Georgia, and raised in Mt. Zion on her parents' chicken farm. At an early age she learned the value of hard work in the many chores farms required. By age 10 Rose won awards showing cows for the local 4H program. In high school, Rose was a member of the Mt. Zion High School marching band as a flute player. She was featured as a soloist during the band’s Simon and Garfunkel season. She also was a member of her high school's Key Club where she did many hours of community service. After high school she took her first paying job as a line cook at Grapevine, a Greek and Italian restaurant in Woodland, Alabama. Using this experience she successfully enrolled and in 2013 graduated from West Georgia Technical College culinary program. During college she worked as a line cook in Carrollton’s Italian restaurant La Trattoria on the Square. In late 2013 Chef Rose became part of Kroger’s chef program. One of her happiest moments came when she was given the opportunity to be the featured chef of West Georgia Woman magazine, where you can see two of her creations every month. This sparked a new idea, and after a pandemic delay she’s giving her nearly 10 years of culinary success directly to the people of Carroll County, Georgia.

When she is not planning menus or cooking for friends and family you can find Chef Rose in the yarn aisle of the local craft shop planning her next crocheted blanket or paci holder.  Her other passion included taking cruises and savoring new foods in various countries in the Caribbean and Central America. She resides in downtown Carrollton with her husband and son.
