How does a personal chef work?

After setting up the service you desire, Chef Rose will shop for all food the day of your appointment to ensure the freshest products. Chef Rose will then come to your residence, prepare food, and clean up after.

What do I need to do to prepare for the Chef’s arrival?

To ensure a smooth service, please make sure that the kitchen space Chef Rose is to work in is cleaned before arrival. This includes making sure stovetop, counters, and sink are clean and emptied. Usually, your own dishes are used for serving, please set them on the table or location you wish to eat at in your home. if you do not wish to use your own dishes, please let Chef Rose know when booking or 24 hours before your appointment

Do I need any special equipment?

Chef Rose will bring all necessary equipment and ingredients to complete the service however, your own equipment can be used if desired. For example, pots, pans, serving plates, etc. any serving dishes that food might be served in will consist of aluminum pans unless client’s equipment is used.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel forty-eight (48) hours before the beginning of your appointment. If you do not cancel within that time period, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $30.00. You may cancel by phone at (470) 868-7503 or by emailing chefrosecooks@gmail.com.

Any refunds or cancellation fee exemptions may be permitted at the sole discretion of the principal member of Chef Rose Cooks LLC.

I saw your recipes in the West Georgia Women's magazine, can you make that recipe for me?

Yes! If you see anything you would like to be cooked for you as a meal, just let Chef Rose know and depending on the item, she will give you the pricing on that item.

Will any alcohol be provided?

Due to certain liability reasons, Chef Rose will not provide any alcohol to any client. If you would like a suggestion for a wine paring, please ask when booking service and any suggestions must be purchased separately by clients before service.

Booking Times

All bookings times for cooking lessons or baby food classes will be for the time you wish Chef Rose to arrive. Average time of classes is about one hour.

For the date night packages please book for two hours before you wish to eat as it takes about two hours to prep and cook your meal. Times may vary slightly depending on menu chosen.

How far can you travel?

Chef Rose Cooks currently serves residential homes in Carroll County, Georgia only. Due to liability reasons, places of business are not applicable even if they are equipped with a kitchen with the exception of charcuterie boards which can be assembled at any location with or without a kitchen.

Can I substitute an ingredient I don’t care for or am allergic to?

Absolutely! Chef Rose wants to make your experience as enjoyable and safe as possible and will work hard to accommodate any requests or dietary restrictions. Please contact us by phone or email with any requests or concerns at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Can I opt out out doing a cooking class and just have Chef Rose cook for me instead?

Yes! If you are interested in having Chef Rose simply come to your home and prepare a meal rather than doing a cooking class then Chef Rose will be happy to work with you. Contact for more details.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Chef Rose Cooks operates using the Square system and can accept most major cards, cash, checks, as well as the option to provide an invoice.
